Q: My client needs cloud connectivity to its physical infrastructure. Can you help with that?
A: Absolutely. We offer private cloud and hybrid cloud options with in-facility physical and cloud connectivity available to limit added fees. If they need it, we also offer virtualization planning and migration services.
Q: Can you connect my clients to hyperscale cloud providers?
A: Yes, we can. We offer direct connection to the public cloud.
Q: In what facilities will we be on-net?
A: Data Canopy has facilities nationwide that are on-net for most carriers. We are partners with CyrusOne whose data centers are all interconnected, and directly connected to the local carrier hotel in each market. So even if your company is not on-net, we can easily pick up your service through a simple cross connect.
Q: How many facilities do you have?
A: Data Canopy has 10 facilities across the country, with access to all 31 of CyrusOne data centers.
Q: Does everyone need an escort?
A: No, every customer gets badge access, and is free to walk through the common areas, their data hall, and cage.
Q: Can Data Canopy help move clients into the data center?
A: Yes, Data Canopy can help with the move, rack and stack of servers, and any necessary cabling.
Q: What kind of certifications do your facilities carry?
A: SSAE18, FISMA, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and more.
Q: Do you offer remote hands service?
A: Yes.
Q: Explain data center tiering levels.
A: This is kind of ambiguous, but all of our facilities are Tier 3 enhanced. This mean that we have at least 2N infrastructure, with 100% uptime SLAs.
Q: This is a beautiful data center, but I’m not sure my customers can afford it.
A: Our pricing is on par or lower than many data centers, even those owned by carriers.
